LOCK DOWN TALES

I decide to be away from technology and live like a cave man. 

A beautiful day well spent. I spent most of it strolling around Kansanga, Kabalagala, and Muyenga. The day was about to end without any incidents till I received a message from Julie. I hardly talk to her. I was shocked to receive the message. I honestly don't know why on Earth she sent the message. The message was traumatising. It is my goal to find out why. On a sad note, I felt betrayed by 2 people I never thought would disappoint me. They didn't keep their promises. Utan & the brother. Lamar. 

A very beautiful Monday morning. Started off with a 4KM walk. Nothing more to write. It was a lovely day. Lamar 😌☺️

Its a Sunday. Prayers??? they are online, (God is everywhere after all). Day starts a little bit later than day 1.... I have the day well planned out...  10:00 AM I decide to re-watch The Big Bang Theory. ( The sitcom cheers me in a weird way) . I finally decide to take a stroll after watching 3 episodes. Being a Sunday, I spent most of the day outdoors.  Lucky me met one of my sons ( The Tekker). We had a wonderful conversation as we strolled  the roads of Buziga .  Basically, nothing special about today. It was a happy 😁😁😊😍😍 day. Ps: talked to my crush today. It was a lovely moment. Looking forward to tomorrow. Lamar. 

The day starts early. And by early I mean 1Am. I just can't find sleep. I am left wondering, "will all the remaining days be the same?" Luckily enough, our school had just gotten the summer break the previous day.  Lockdown starts while I am alone. It shall not take down my mental health. My favorite person has been sick for quite a long time and I was not able to see them.  I decide to challenge myself. Loneliness should definitely make me a better and stronger person. I shall not allow loneliness to drag me down. [4:00PM] Meanwhile, I try to call a certain friend. He understands more than anybody else. He doesn't pick up. Loneliness hits more than I thought.  Decide to call some of my friends. We have conversations that make me feel whole again. What is peace? According to the Oxford English Dictionary, "Peace is defined as Freedom from disturbance" or "a period where there is no war or war has ended". Do we have peace in Uganda? First and foremost, Ugandans are a peaceful people. It is very true that Uganda has not had major riots for a while now. But does that mean we have peace in Uganda? You can be the judge of that: There have been various killings by security agencies in Uganda, most of these security officers are yet to be brought to justice. A case in point the Kasese Massacre killings  as reported by Human Rights Watch  These killings took place in 2016.  There have been alleged reports of various people being abducted from their homes in the middle of the night.
